During my last visit to Carmel, I noticed a few buildings quite unique about the town. When I saw it, it felts like I’m visiting the English countryside, or something close to it.
Carmel is a small ‘village’ and quite a tight-knit community with very conservative ordinance for the town. Perhaps preserving this cottages, most of them built in the 1920’s is one of the ordinances as it gives the town its unique character. This is certainly something one did not expect in a seaside community such as Carmel.
